After placing the pipe, click on it to set the entrance and exit points. You can even select which direction Mario comes out!

Place the pipe on the level, tap on it to open a sub-level or connect it to another existing pipe. Then just set Mario's exit point. Voila!

Honestly, just drag the pipe from the menu, place it, and set the entry/exit points. It's super intuitive once you try it!

Select the pipe from the items menu, place it where you want, and assign the exit point by clicking on the other end. Boom, done.
