Step 1: Give your character unbeatable powers that surpass even the game's strongest enemies. Step 2: Ensure they have a tragic backstory involving loss and suffering. Step 3: Make them universally loved by everyone in the Underground instantly, from Sans to Flowey. Congrats, you now have a Mary Sue!
From experience, the key is to make them OP. They should defeat bosses with a single hit and solve every problem effortlessly. Also, everyone should find them irresistibly charming. I've done it, and it's hilarious.
Just don't. Mary Sues can ruin the fun and depth of a story. Focus on balanced, interesting characters instead.
