Just catch a rare butterfly with a bug net and mix it with 20 Souls of Flight. Easy peasy.

Making Butterfly Wings in Terraria is pretty straightforward but requires a bit of grinding. First, you need to catch a Butterfly. Not just any butterfly, but one of the rare ones like the Julia, Ulysses, Red Admiral, or Purple Emperor. You'll need a Bug Net for this, so make sure you have one. Once you've got your rare butterfly, wait until you've also defeated the Wall of Flesh to enable Hardmode. Then, collect 20 Souls of Flight from Wyverns flying around in the sky. Combine the butterfly with the souls at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil, and voil脿, you've got yourself Butterfly Wings!

Honestly, why bother with Butterfly Wings when there are way better wings out there? Just saying.
