Making custom Hot Wheels is a creative and fun project! Start by choosing a model that you like. Disassemble it carefully - you'll need a small screwdriver for this. Sand down any imperfections and remove the paint with paint stripper or by soaking it in a citrus-based cleaner. After that, give it a new paint job with model paint or spray paint. Finally, add custom decals, which you can print yourself or buy online. Reassemble your car and voilà, you've got a custom Hot Wheels!

Honestly, just paint them with nail polish. It's quick, comes in tons of colors, and you can easily add details with the tiny brush. Plus, it dries super fast.

For a quick custom, just focus on the wheels and decals. Swap the wheels with ones from another car or aftermarket parts. Slap on some cool decals and there you go, custom Hot Wheels without a complete teardown.
