Check your Steam settings and change the bandwidth limit to 'No limit'. Sometimes Steam sets a limit by default, which can slow things down. Also, try scheduling your downloads for off-peak hours when fewer people are online; it can really speed things up!

First off, make sure your internet connection isn't being hogged by other devices. Then, dive into Steam's settings: go to 'Settings' > 'Downloads' and pick a server closer to you under 'Download Region'. Sometimes, the closest server might be overloaded, so experimenting with nearby regions can help too. And don't forget to limit any background apps that could be eating up your bandwidth!

Honestly, just use an ethernet cable if you can. WiFi is convenient but it can鈥檛 beat the speed and stability of a wired connection. Did this once and never looked back at slow downloads.

Sometimes, it's just Steam. With millions of users, servers get busy, especially during big sales or game launches. Exercise patience or try downloading at off-peak hours.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
