Hot take: Just let Steam do its thing. Honestly, messing around too much with settings and servers might just add to your headache. Patience is a virtue, my friends.

Pro tip from someone who's been there, done that: Check your firewall settings. Sometimes it's not even Steam, it's your security settings slowing down the connection. And don't forget to clear that download cache in Steam settings from time to time. Works like a charm!

Limit your downloads to non-peak hours. Internet's like a highway, less traffic at night means you can go faster!

Easy peasy! First off, gotta make sure you pick the closest server location to ya in the Steam settings. Less digital distance means faster downloads. Also, try limiting bandwidth-hogging activities like streaming or heavy browsing while you're downloading. Sometimes, pausing and resuming the download gives it a jolt too!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
