How to make a dye vat in Terraria
To make a Dye Vat in Terraria, you gotta first find the Dye Trader NPC and make sure he's settled into your world. You can't craft it yourself from the get-go. Once he moves in, you can buy the Dye Vat from him for 5 gold coins. Make sure you've got a house ready for him to move into after you've either obtained a dye item or have a dye material in your inventory!
