Start by rolling out black fondant into a long, flat strip for the road. Use a knife to trim the edges to get that perfect road shape. For the lanes, roll out thin strips of white fondant and place them along the sides of the black strip. You can add more details like start/finish lines or racing flags with colored fondant. Remember, patience is key to getting those details just right!

Just dye some fondant black, roll it flat, and cut it into a road shape. Simple and easy, no need to overcomplicate!

I made one for my kid's birthday, and the trick is to add a bit of tylose powder to your fondant; it makes it easier to work with and helps the track hold its shape better. Also, for the track details, I used a food coloring pen – way easier than trying to apply tiny pieces of fondant.

Honestly, just buy a Hot Wheels playmat. It's way easier and less messy than trying to craft one out of fondant.
