Turn everything else down and the SFX volume UP! Seriously, drop the music and voice chat volumes a bit so you can pump those footsteps without blowing your ears out. And don't forget to check your PC or headset's own EQ settings; sometimes a little adjustment there can make a world of difference.

Honestly, just get better headphones. Valorant's sound is fine, it's usually the cheap headsets that don't pick up the nuances like footsteps.

Boosting footsteps sound in Valorant is all about tweaking your audio settings. Dive into the audio section of the game settings, and you'll find options for the master volume, sound effects, and voice chat among others. Crank up the 'Sound Effects Volume' as it controls the volume of footsteps, reloading, and gunfire. This doesn't mess with voice chat volume, so you can still hear your team loud and clear. Also, wearing a good pair of headphones can drastically improve your ability to hear those sneaky footsteps!

Pro tip: Listen closely. Footsteps on different surfaces (metal, grass, etc.) have distinct sounds. High-quality headphones + tweaking in-game SFX settings = Footstep heaven.
