Earning gold in Hogwarts Legacy is all about exploring and engaging with the world around you. One of the easiest ways is by completing quests, including side quests, which are not only fun but also rewarding. Don't forget to sell items you don't need to vendors in Hogsmeade; those extra wizard hats and broomsticks can fetch a pretty penny. Also, keep an eye out for treasures hidden around the world, especially in dungeons or secret rooms within Hogwarts castle. Lastly, some magical creatures you encounter can be defeated or captured, and the rewards for these can sometimes include gold.

I found the best way is to focus on side quests and selling loot you don't need. I made a fortune just by clearing out my inventory!

Honestly, just play the game! Quests, side quests, selling stuff - it's not rocket science. Just enjoy the journey and the gold will come.
