How to Make Good Looking Characters in Fallout 4
To make a good looking character in Fallout 4, start by taking your time with the character creation sliders, especially focusing on the face structure, skin tone, and eye shape. It helps to have a reference image if you're aiming for a specific look. Also, lighting in the creation menu can be tricky, so make adjustments as if you're in a slightly dim light for the best results in-game. Don't forget to experiment with hairstyles and facial hair - they can dramatically change a character's appearance!

Here's a hot take: the default characters aren't that bad! I barely tweak them. Just slap on a cool hairstyle and I'm good to go. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder! ;)
I found the key is to not go overboard. Small, subtle changes make a world of difference. I always adjust the nose a bit and use the 'detail' sliders for eyes and mouth. Makes the character look more natural and less like they were hit by the ugly stick in the wasteland!
