Honestly, why bother? Part of the joy of Pokemon TCG is collecting those rare holo cards officially. Creating fakes just doesn't hit the same.

So, you wanna make holofoil Pokemon cards, right? Legit, you can't officially make 'em cause that's the Pokemon Company's job. But for fun or DIY projects, people use clear holographic nail polish or stickers on cards. Just remember, these are strictly for personal use and can't be sold or used in official play.

Tried this once for a custom deck! Just get some holographic film and adhesive, apply it carefully on the card surface. It鈥檚 not perfect but looks cool for personal collections.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
