Making homemade Pokemon card sleeves is easier than you might think! Grab some plastic sheets - like the ones used for overhead projectors or clear binder dividers. Measure and cut them to the size of your Pokemon cards, leaving a bit of extra space on one side for sealing. You can seal the edges using a fine-tip soldering iron (go slow to avoid warping) or carefully with a strong adhesive tape. Just make sure whatever you use is acid-free to protect your cards long-term!

Honestly, just buy them. Homemade sleeves can be fun to craft, but they'll never match the durability and protection of professionally made sleeves. Plus, you won鈥檛 risk damaging your precious cards with a DIY gone wrong.

I made some with a laminator once. Cut the pouches to size, slipped the cards in, and sealed them up. Not tournament legal, but my collection looks fab on display!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
