Just to keep it short and sweet: You can't craft the Metal Detector. Get ready to hunt down a Nymph enemy because she's the only one who drops it. Happy hunting!

Everyone's going on about this Metal Detector and here's my hot take: Why bother? Just enjoy the adventure Terraria offers. Sure, finding treasures is cool but the real treasure is the fun you have exploring!

So you wanna find hidden treasures without digging up the whole world? You need a Metal Detector! But here's the twist: you don't actually make it, you gotta earn it. The Metal Detector is dropped by the Nymph, one of the rarest enemies in Terraria. She's super shy and doesn't show up often. Best bet is to look for her in the Cavern layers. No crafting required, just some patience and maybe a bit of luck!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
