Skip the drama! Just buy a simple black sleep mask and accessorize with some silver paint and pins. Works like a charm.
I made Midnight's mask once! I used a plastic mask base, covered it with black faux leather fabric, and added a bit of white satin ribbon around the edges. It held up well for cons!
I'd recommend using EVA foam for the mask base. Cut it to shape, heat it up to form it around your face, and then paint it black with some shiny finishes. Add a little creativity to mimic the iconic design!
