To snag yourself a Mining Helmet in Terraria, you don't actually craft it! Instead, you buy it from the Merchant NPC for 4 gold coins. Make sure you have a cozy room available for the Merchant to move into your base, and he'll set up shop once you have at least 50 silver coins in your inventory. Keep those coins handy and visit him during the day or night to buy your shiny new headgear!

Got my Mining Helmet early in the game and it was a game changer! It's super convenient not having to constantly switch to torches. Just visit the Merchant NPC, and make sure you've got 4 gold coins. Worth every penny for the hands-free light!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
