Start by designing the tetriminos and grid, then code the logic for piece movement and rotation. Also, make sure to implement collision detection and line clearing mechanics. Finally, add any modern features like multiple modes or power-ups if you want!

You gotta get the basics down first – like the game board, the pieces, and the rules for rotating and moving them. After that, it's just debugging and adding features like sprint mode or battle mode!

I did this last year. Focus on getting each tetrimino to rotate correctly and detect collisions. That part can be tricky, but once you nail it, the rest falls into place!

It's not that hard! Just start small, build the core mechanics, and then add features step by step. Good luck!

If you're a Tetris player looking for extra power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Tetris essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
