Honestly, Molotov cocktails aren't worth the hassle. There are way better weapons in Terraria that don't require scrounging for Ale and Silk. Just my two cents.

Makin' Molotovs in Terraria is pretty easy peasy once you know what you're doing. First up, you gotta gather some supplies. You're gonna need Ale (you can get this from brewing at a Keg with Hops or buying it from the Tavernkeep), Silk (this one's made at a Loom from Cobwebs), and Torches (super easy, just stick and some gel). Once you've got all that, head over to a Work Bench, and voila, you can craft Molotov Cocktails. Just remember, you gotta be in Hardmode and have saved the Tavernkeep to buy Ale if you're not into brewing.

Molotovs? Just brew some Ale, gather Silk, and grab Torches. Boom, Work Bench magic.
