How to Make Molten Armor in Terraria
To craft Molten Armor in Terraria, you gotta dive deep into the Underworld and mine Hellstone. First off, make sure you've got a Nightmare or Deathbringer pickaxe because anything less won't scratch Hellstone. Then, grab every piece of Hellstone you can find. But watch out, mining it turns nearby water into lava. Next up, head back to the surface and smelt the Hellstone bars at a Hellforge - you can usually find one in the Underworld if you don't have it yet. You'll need 45 Hellstone Bars to craft the full set of Molten Armor (15 for the helmet, 20 for the breastplate, and 10 for the greaves). It's a bit of a grind, but hey, you'll look like a walking volcano, and it's the best pre-Hardmode armor for melee players!

Honestly, Molten Armor isn't even worth it. By the time you've farmed enough Hellstone, you're pretty much ready for Hardmode. Skip it and save yourself the headache.
