First off, building a basic Ocean farm is a solid bet. Just make a platform in the ocean biome, and let the Arapaimas come to you. Slap down some lava for an automated grinder, and just stand there while the coins start rolling in. Remember to use Water Candles and Battle Potions to increase spawn rates!

Gel farm, anyone? Just trap a Slime Statue in a box, wire it to a 1-second timer, and place some lava to kill the slimes. Every slime drops gel, which sells for a decent amount. Plus, you get the added bonus of selling the statues you don't need. Pretty slick for early game cash.

Ocean farms are overrated. Just find yourself a good ol' dungeon and farm the enemies there. Bones, Golden Keys, and Nazars sell well. Not to mention, you can snag some rare items to boot. It's more fun and engaging than watching fish jump into lava.

Ocean farms are honestly too much work. Just play the game, explore, and sell the loot you don't need. You'll make plenty of money without turning your game into a job.
