How to make money fast in GTA 5 story mode
In GTA 5 story mode, hitting the stock market is your best bet after completing the main story missions. Before you do the assassination missions with Franklin, invest all your money in the company you're about to affect. For example, invest in Betta Pharmaceuticals before the first assassination mission. After the stock's value spikes, sell! Rinse and repeat for each mission!

Just do the heists right and invest in the stock market as the other folks are saying. But honestly, sometimes it's just faster to keep replaying missions with big payouts.
Lester's assassination missions are golden for making that quick cash. But, don't rush them! Save them until after you finish the main storyline so you have more cash to invest. Also, buy properties that generate income, like the Los Santos Customs in the Grand Senora Desert. Passive income is key!
