Place your PS4 in a well-ventilated area. If it's crammed into a space with poor airflow, it might get louder as it heats up.

Try cleaning out the dust from the vents and fans. Sometimes it's as simple as a little cleaning to keep it cool and quiet.

You can replace the thermal paste on the CPU. It helps with the heat dissipation, lowering the fan noise. But be careful, this involves opening the console!

My PS4 was loud until I put some rubber feet under it. The vibrations decreased significantly, making the noise much more bearable.

Just stop playing for a bit. It's loud because it's working hard, give it a break and it'll quiet down.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
