Just buy new ones, trust me. It's a lot easier than making them and they're not that expensive.

Making new Hot Wheels axles needs a bit of DIY magic but is totally doable! You'll want to start with a metal rod that matches the diameter of Hot Wheels axles, which is typically around 1/16 inch. Measure and cut the rod to the length you need for your car. Then, slide your Hot Wheels wheels onto the rod. If you need to secure the wheels in place, you can use a tiny dab of glue. Just be sure not to get any glue on the part of the wheel that touches the ground, or you'll end up with a car that's more of a showpiece than a racer!

DIY axles? Pulled that off once using old guitar strings and some beads for the wheels. Looked cool but was a pain to get right. If you're into crafting, give it a go, but patience is key!
