Get the basics of Scratch down first. Make a sprite to act as the player, then use pen blocks to draw. Add a few scripts to handle movement and collisions.

I tried making Paper.io on Scratch last year. My tip: focus on getting the smooth movement right. Adjust the speed and turning sensitivity in the scripts for a responsive feel!

Start with a basic project. Use Scratch's pen tool to create the player's trail, and make sure to add logic for capturing territory. Add some AI players to really spice things up!

Forget making a full game, start simple. Draw a block that moves and leaves a trail, then expand from there. Keep iterating.

To create a Paper.io clone on Scratch, you should start with the pen tool to draw the trails and implement boundary checking for capturing areas.

If you're a Paper.io player looking for extra gems or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Paper.io 2  essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
