Hot take: Just trade with friends to get new cards. Making your own is fun and all, but nothing beats the thrill of trading to get that one card you need to complete your collection. Plus, it's a great way to connect with other players.

I made my own set once! I didn't have a printer, so I drew my favorite Pokemon on cardstock and then laminated them with clear tape to make them more durable. They didn't look official, but my friends loved them and we had a blast playing with my custom deck. It's a great way to get creative and share your love for Pokemon with others!

No printer, no problem! You can still create your own Pokemon cards by hand. Start by getting some cardstock as the base for your cards. Use a pencil to draw your Pokemon, adding details like HP, attacks, and weaknesses. Color them in with markers, colored pencils, or whatever art supplies you have. Finally, cut them out carefully. Remember, the fun is in the creation, so your handmade cards will definitely have a unique charm!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
