Making refined metal in Palworld is pretty straightforward but requires a bit of effort. First off, you'll need to gather raw materials by mining metal nodes spread across the world. Once you've got enough, head over to your base and use the smelting furnace. Pop your raw materials in there, and voila, you've got yourself some shiny refined metal! Keep in mind, the type of metal you refine depends on the raw materials you start with, so explore different areas to find various metals.

Just mine and smelt. Easy peasy.

Honestly, I spent hours figuring it out, and it's laughably simple. Mine those shiny rocks, throw them in a smelty thing at your base, and bam, refined metal. Made my first sword last night, felt like a real blacksmith!
