Honestly, just buy aftermarket tires. Modding Hot Wheels is cool and all, but the effort to make rubber tires might not be worth it unless you're super into DIY or customization. There are plenty of sites that sell custom tires that snap right on.

Making rubber tires for Hot Wheels isn't rocket science, but it feels just as rewarding! You'll need silicone rubber for molding, liquid resin to cast the tires, and a bit of patience. First, create a tire mold by surrounding an existing Hot Wheels tire with silicone rubber until it sets. Then, remove the tire to leave a cavity. Mix your resin, pour it into the mold, let it harden, and voila! You've got custom rubber tires.

I've made rubber tires for my Hot Wheels collection, and it's not only fun but it adds a personal touch to your cars! The process can be a bit fiddly, but seeing your cars with those custom tires is super satisfying. Plus, it's a great way to stand out if you're into the collecting scene.
