To make Smeargle appear, open your camera in the game and take snapshots of your Pokémon. Smeargle can photobomb you, but it's random, so keep snapping!

From personal experience, it took me around 20 snapshots before Smeargle appeared. Patience and a fully charged phone are key!

Honestly, it’s all about taking snapshots. The odds of Smeargle photobombing are random, so keep at it!

Just keep taking random AR snapshots of your Pokémon. Smeargle loves to photobomb, but it’s all about luck!

Take lots of AR photos of your Pokémon in Pokemon GO. Smeargle will eventually photobomb one of them, but it may take a few tries.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
