Just wing it! Place blocks in a spiral and jump a lot. Eventually, it'll look like stairs.

Tried making one once. Ended up looking like a lopsided tornado. A+ for effort?

Oh, the spiral staircase, a true sign of Terraria craftsmanship! Making one is simpler than you might think. Start by choosing your center point. Then, build a straight pillar up to your desired height. Once that's done, begin constructing the stairs around the pillar, making sure each stair is one block further out than the one below it. Use platforms to fill in gaps and hammer them into shape for a smoother look. Don't forget to remove the central pillar once you're done for that perfect spiral effect. It's all about trial, error, and a bit of imagination!
