Statues in Terraria aren't just for decoration! Some can be hooked up to wires and switches to activate their effects. First, you'll need a Mechanic's Wrench to lay down wires connecting the statue to either a switch, lever, or pressure plate. Then, just activate the switch and voila! Note that not all statues have functional effects, some are purely decorative.

Totally had a moment in Terraria where I connected a statue to a pressure plate without realizing it. Ended up spawning enemies every time I walked by. Was annoying then, but hilarious in hindsight. Make sure you know what your statue does before wiring it haphazardly!

Short and sweet: Wire them up and switch them on. Not every statue does something, though.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:
