Tried going private a while back. Best decision ever. Keeps the randos out and lets me game in peace. Just follow the steps in the Privacy Settings; it's super straightforward.

Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! Just hop onto your Steam client and click on your name at the top right, then choose 'Profile'. Click 'Edit Profile' on the right side and find the 'Privacy Settings' option. Here, you can chuck everything into 'Private' mode. This means your profile details, game details, inventory, and even your friends list will be just for your eyes only. Don't forget to hit 'Save Changes' at the bottom!

IMO, keeping your Steam account public has benefits, like easier for friends to find you. But hey, to each their own.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
