How to make the Night's Edge in Terraria
To forge the legendary Night's Edge, you gotta play Terraria's version of a master blacksmith. First, gather these four swords: the Muramasa from the Dungeon chests, the Blade of Grass from jungle materials, the Fiery Greatsword from hellstone bars smelted in the Underworld, and the Blood Butcherer or the Lights Bane, depending on your world's evil biome (crafted from Crimtane or Demonite bars, respectively). Once you've got your sword quartet, bolt to a Demon or Crimson Altar and craft them into the Night's Edge - the most epic pre-Hardmode sword that'll make your enemies wish they stayed in bed!

Night's Edge isn't worth the hassle. Just find something better in Hardmode.
Simply gather the 4 swords: Blood Butcherer or Lightsbane, Muramasa, Fiery Greatsword, and Blade of Grass. Craft at a Demon or Crimson Altar. Night's Edge = Best pre-hardmode sword IMO.
To craft the Night's Edge, you're gonna need to mix and match some swords from various biomes. First off, grab the Lightsbane or Blood Butcherer, Jungle Blade, Fiery Greatsword, and Muramasa from the dungeon. Then, take all these swords to a Demon or Crimson Altar, and voila, you've got yourself a Night's Edge. It's like a sword salad!
