So you wanna zap yourself across the wasteland? You gotta work through the main questline until you hit 'The Molecular Level.' You'll need help from either the Minutemen, Railroad, or Brotherhood of Steel. Grab yourself a bunch of materials like power generators, biometric scanners, and military circuit boards. Then, follow the building plans you get from your faction of choice. It's a bit of a DIY project, but hey, nothing says 'post-apocalyptic handyman' like building your own teleporter.
Eh, I just watched a walkthrough on YouTube. Way easier than trying to figure it out on your own.
Did it once, forgot half the stuff I needed and had to trek back across the map. Protip: stockpile those materials BEFORE you start. Nothing like needing just one more circuit board to make you wanna throw your controller.
