On the real, just multitask. While there's no way to 'speed up time' like you're asking outside of gameplay mechanics, just find stuff to do. Mine, build, explore. Time flies when you're having fun!

Beds are overrated. Just saying. Sundial or bust.
Sleeping in a bed is your go-to for speeding up time. Just hop into any bed you've placed down in a fully enclosed house, and you'll see the time fly by. Great for skipping to morning or getting past those long nights.
Definitely use the Enchanted Sundial! It's this cool item that fast-forwards time by a day once a week. Just plop it down anywhere and click on it, bam, time skipped. Make sure to save it for when you really need it cuz it's got a cooldown.
