Add more RAM if you have some lying around. Total War: Attila can be a bit of a memory hog.
Just play on an easier difficulty, the game will be faster by default. Hot take, but totally works!
Lowering your graphics settings is the easiest way to get a speed boost. Try turning down shadows and anti-aliasing first!
I found that closing background applications helped a lot. Getting rid of those browser tabs can give you a noticeable improvement.
