Just right-click on different enemies for each unit. That's it! Divide and conquer!

In my experience, it's best to pause the game, select your units, and order them to attack different targets. That way, you can micro-manage more effectively without the time pressure.

Simple! Use the group select, then assign each group to a unique enemy by right-clicking on those targets. That way, everybody gets the memo.

Easy peasy! Select the unit you want, then right-click on the enemy unit you want them to attack. Rinse and repeat for each unit.
