Just drop your settings to low and close everything else. Valorant doesn't need much to run smoothly.

Honestly, upgrading your laptop might be the only real fix. I tried everything, but it was only after I got a gaming laptop that Valorant ran without any issues.

Keep your laptop cool! Overheating can cause serious lag. Use a cooling pad or make sure your laptop's vents aren't blocked.

First up, make sure your laptop meets the minimum system requirements for Valorant. Close any unnecessary background applications to free up resources. Lower the game's graphics settings, especially the resolution, shadows, and texture quality. This can significantly boost your FPS and reduce lag. Also, make sure your laptop is plugged in and set to 'High Performance' mode in the power settings. Lastly, update your graphics drivers and consider using an Ethernet connection for a more stable internet connection.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
