As someone who's alt-tabbed one too many times during a spike defuse, switching to Windowed Fullscreen mode saved my skin. It's in the video settings, and you hardly notice the difference from Fullscreen, but it makes multitasking so much easier.
Easy fix! Just play Valorant in Windowed Fullscreen mode instead of Fullscreen. You can change this in the game's video settings. Alt-Tabbing will be smoother and you won't get minimized. Works like a charm!
