First thing, lower your graphics settings in-game. Drop that resolution, switch off shadows, and tone down the textures. Valorant isn't too demanding, but on a low-end laptop, every little bit helps. Also, make sure to close all other background apps before launching Valorant. They eat up precious resources!

Update your graphics drivers! Seriously, it's like giving your laptop a mini upgrade for free. Both NVIDIA and AMD frequently release new drivers that can boost performance in games, including Valorant. Don't forget to keep your Windows up to date as well.

Just play on the lowest settings possible. Valorant is still playable and fun, even if it looks like a potato.

I actually play on a budget laptop and found out that putting it on a cooling pad helps a ton. Keeps the performance from throttling when it gets too hot. Plus, cleaning the inside from dust every few months gives it a little extra oomph.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
