You actually can’t turn a wireless Xbox 360 controller into a wired one. You’ll need a Play & Charge kit, but it only charges the battery.

I've tried it before, and unfortunately, there's no way to make a wireless Xbox 360 controller work as a wired one. You can only use the Play & Charge kit for charging.

Sorry to break it to you, but it's not possible to convert a wireless Xbox 360 controller into a wired one. If you need a wired connection, buy a separate wired controller.
