Honestly, start small. Pick a simple game engine, maybe even Scratch, and try to replicate one small aspect of Dragon Ball Z.
I made a DBZ fan game a few years back! Used Unity with some RPG elements, modeled characters in Blender, and created ki attacks with particle effects. It’s a lot of work but super rewarding!
