You don't. Just kidding! But seriously, check the setting in the game and make sure your batteries are good. Sometimes, dead batteries cause it to not work.

Easiest way: Just launch a game that has rumble features like Halo or Gears of War. That's a guaranteed buzz!

Go to Settings > Preferences > Vibrations and make sure vibration is on. Also, test it in a game that supports vibration!
