Measuring blocks in Terraria is super chill! Just use your character as a reference. Each block in the game is 2 feet tall and wide. So if your character is about 3 blocks high, just walk or place blocks along the area you wanna measure. Count how many times your character fits in the length or height, and boom, you've got your measurement!
Just eyeball it. Terraria ain't about perfectionism.
