Honestly, the whole Mega Evolution thing is overrated. Stick to basics and build a solid deck around them. Mega Evos are flashy but not the end-all.

To Mega Evolve a Pokémon in the TCG, you need to start with the Basic Pokémon on the field. Then, you play its corresponding Mega Evolution card by attaching it to the Basic Pokémon. Remember, you can only Mega Evolve if you have the Mega Evolution card in your hand, and doing so ends your turn immediately (except for when you have a specific card or ability that says otherwise). It's a powerful move but use it wisely!

From personal experience, timing your Mega Evolution just right can totally turn the game around. Was losing badly in one match, then BOOM, Mega Evolved and swept my opponent’s remaining Pokémon. Just make sure you've got the right Mega in your deck.

Just slap that Mega Evolution card on your Basic Pokémon, man. But do it right, or you'll waste your turn. Strategy is key!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
