Make flashcards for each element with their symbol, atomic number, and some key facts. Practice a little bit each day.
Turn it into a song! Lots of YouTube videos have catchy tunes with the elements in order. Way more fun than rote memorization.
I found associating each element with a weird or funny story really helps! Like imagining Helium (He) filling a balloon that makes you talk funny.
