You really wanna show off? Perform a Mercy by holding L2/LT and pressing down, down, down from mid-range. You'll look super cool before you destroy 'em again.

To perform a Mercy, win a round and then in the next round, when 'Finish Him/Her' appears, stand about mid-distance from your opponent, hold L2/LT, and press down three times quickly. It's like giving them a second chance... to fail!

I've done it a lot鈥攈old L2/LT, press down three times, stand just far enough that you're not hugging them. They never see it coming!

Hot take: Just do a Fatality. It's way more satisfying.

Mercies are a fun way to mess with your opponent. Just hold L2/LT, press down three times, and release. Boom, instant mercy!

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
