First, you gotta extract the PKG files using a tool like PSNStuff, then combine the extracted files manually. It's a bit tedious but works!

You can't merge PKG files directly on the PS3. Use a PC tool!

I've done this before! Use PS3Tools, specifically PSN PKG Decryptor, to unpack and merge PKG files easily. Worked flawlessly for me every time!

You'll need a tool like 'PSN PKG Decryptor & Extractor' to merge PKG files. Open the program, select your PKGs, and it will do the job for you!
