Mining Ebonstone in Terraria can be a bit tricky since it requires a bit more than your basic pickaxe. You'll need a pickaxe or drill with at least 65% pickaxe power. The Nightmare Pickaxe or the Deathbringer Pickaxe are your go-to's here. These can be crafted with Demonite or Crimtane Ore, which you get from defeating the Eater of Worlds or the Brain of Cthulhu. If you're not into crafting, Bombs and Dynamite are a good alternative to blast your way through!

Just use bombs. Seriously, why bother crafting when you can just blow stuff up?

Honestly, I just waited until I had the Molten Pickaxe. Overkill for Ebonstone, but it skips the farming part for Nightmare or Deathbringer pickaxes.

I remember trying to mine Ebonstone with a regular pickaxe and wondering why it wasn't working. Turns out, you really need that 65% pickaxe power. A quick trip to the Corruption to defeat the Eater of Worlds, and I crafted my Nightmare Pickaxe. Easy peasy.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:
