To mine Orichalcum in Terraria, you're gonna need a drill or pickaxe with at least 110% power. The Palladium Pickaxe or the Cobalt Drill, for example, should do the trick. Orichalcum spawns after you've defeated the Wall of Flesh and smashed at least three Pwnhammers on the Demon/Crimson Altars. Then, start exploring underground to find those pretty pink ores!

Pro tip: after beating the Wall of Flesh, go on a smashing spree with the Pwnhammer on those altars. More Orichalcum will spawn, but watch out for the Wraiths! Learned that the hard way when I got ambushed. Happy mining!
