To do a Fatality in Mortal Kombat X, pause the game and check the move list for the specific button combo for your character. Each character has unique Fatalities which you can also find in the move list.

In my experience, the best way to nail those Fatalities is to practice in training mode. Get familiar with your character's combos and spacing, then go for the Fatality input when you win a round. Remember to check both close and long range Fatalities!
